I'd also suggest getting in touch with the developer of XMBC, he's supposed to be pretty good at getting back or try the XMBC Forums. One method that seems to work is to activatethe scroll bar in the window where you want use the scrolling feature. I have a Logitech M500 with 7 buttons and all 7 are seen and programmable, including Tilt Left/Right and the Wheel Button. Can't understand why XMBC won't see all your mouse's buttons.
